Dust devils have changed now<br />
- they should have better fighting skills now (i have not tested how much better)<br />
- the limit of 2 devils was removed, and is probably determined by a skill (i can summon 2 easily, 3 if i'm lucky)<br />
Someone suggested that it might be fa.ri.sp, but i cant be sure of that<br />
:I can easily get three dusties (or a creeping doom and a dustie) with my stock bonuses, but am unable to get four even with OC wis bonus, a flat cap, and the high altar. Those stat increases took my mi.ar from 396 to 430, but I forgot to check other skills (fa.ri.sp is at a bonus of 402 most of the time). Not sure if this will be remotely helpful, but it might aid someone in figuring out which skill is used, or at what bonus levels the limit is increased... -- Mishal (talk) (MUD finger) 11:06, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

:If anyone's interested in doing research on their fighting skills, maybe Holy Insight would be useful (just a shame it's not more granular)... anyone who doesn't have it can give me (Ilde or Roywyn) a poke; I've got at least one alt with the ritual and I'd be happy to use it on people's dusties. Maybe we could put together a table of dusty fighting skills vs. priests' skills. --Ilde 20:08, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
The devils tested were also all "extremely poor at staying unnoticed", <del>"average at noticing things"</del>, and had "average" scores in all stats except str, which didn't come up. Magic and religious matters also didn't come up. #1 is actually two different devils, made by the same person and with no differences between them. #2 is actually three devils, again made by the same person and showing no differences between them. --Ilde 01:46, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

Again, #3 was two different devils by the same character. They were extremely poor at religious matters and staying unnoticed, with average int, con, wis, dex. Ditto for #4, which was of average strength, as well. So, so far it looks like fighting skills and hitpoints increase with skills (or just with size?), but not anything else. (#5 was also two whirlwinds with identical conditions.) --Ilde 04:37, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

ETA: <del>The huge and gigantic dusties being "reasonably good" (250-300 bonus, apparently) at combat, while the larger colossal and enormous ones were only "quite good" (200-250 bonus) isn't a mistake, although it makes me wonder whether "reasonably good" and "quite good" are labeled correctly on the Holy Insight page. Unless dusties actually get worse at fighting as they get bigger, which seems implausible.</del> Yep, they were switched on Holy Insight. Mystery solved! --Ilde 05:21, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
Interesting comparisons
*175/148/276/near sacred waters versus 186/148/276/near sacred waters: hp goes from "better than average" to "reasonably good", showing that of.area affects hp. Also shows that devils of the same size are not all the same, as both devils were gigantic.
*177/53/224/high altar, increasing mi.area to 277 while keeping of.area steady: size increases and hp eventually goes from "better than average" to "reasonably good", showing that mi.area affects size and hp.
*236/123/276/high altar versus 177/53/277/high altar: higher of.area (and slightly lower misc.area) results in a "colossal" devil instead of a "gigantic" one, showing that of.area affects size.

Research: Number of devils
I've heard that de.ar affects how many devils you can summon, and I've also heard that ri.sp might affect it. So, let's see if there's any correlation.

Format: number of times can summon at least specified number of devils/number of attempts to summon that number of devils.

Modifiers of course means visible modifiers besides controlling dust devils, which is implied. Going outside of AM and journeying once along the road stops you from being either visibly near or far from holy ground. Passage rooms also work for Hat, Gapp, Gufnork, and Sek, although for Fish, Sandelfon, and Pishe they result in having the unique bonuses (in water, indoors, rain).

How they're counted:
*If one devil is summoned, then dismissed (or times out), it's counted as a success for 1 devil and ignored for higher numbers (as there was no attempt to control more than one).
*If one devil is summoned and attempting to summon another results in it slipping away, it's counted as a success for 1 devil, and a failure for all higher numbers.
*Failing to summon a devil while not controlling any devils counts as a failure for all numbers.

Conclusion
Of.area determines how many dust devils you can have. Sorting by of.area shows that the highest bonus allows summoning three devils 9 of 15 times, the next highest allows summoning a third devil occasionally, the next two highest allow summoning a second devil 10 of 15 times (but never/rarely a third), and the lowest three bonuses never allow summoning a second devil (and result in a certain amount of failure to summon a devil even when not controlling any already). The only oddity is that the second-highest bonus results in complete failure (no devils at all) twice--however, this isn't very surprising, since the bonus is still quite close to the next two lowest, and the misc.area bonus was significantly lower.

Misc.area, def.area, and ri.sp do not appear to have any effect on the number of devils that may be summoned... sorting by any of these results in dramatic jumps in the "2 devils" column.

Priest's skills and devil abilities
Objective: Find out if and how the three different area skills affect devils' combat abilities (how often they hit and how much damage they do, and how well they dodge).

Method: Have devils created with low bonuses in all three skills fight someone (in the ctf arena) for about an hour total, healing the player and the devils whenever they're injured. Advance one skill, repeat. Advance another skill, repeat. Advance final skill, repeat. Go through the logs (with a script) and count up the hits and misses for both, keeping track of the damage that devils' hits did (where possible).

Sets:
*Set #1: Devils created with a 180 or 182 bonus in of.ar, 80 de.ar, and 215 mi.ar.
*Set #2: Mi.ar increased: Devils created with a 180 or 182 bonus in of.ar, 80 de.ar, and 302 mi.ar.
*Set #3: Of.ar increased: Devils created with a 276 bonus in of.ar, 80 de.ar, and 302 mi.ar.
*Set #4: De.ar increased: Devils created with a 276 bonus in of.ar, 239 de.ar, and 302 mi.ar.

Sets #2, #3, and #4 were actually done in two sessions, and set #2 actually had two characters creating the devils (I wanted to go back and do more, but had already advanced, so made another character, gave her the same stats, and advanced her skills to the same levels). Also, there was an of.ar tm during set #1, which carried over to part of set #2. This probably doesn't matter, though. We took the following steps to try to eliminate sources of error:
*The person fighting the devils kept the same tactics and used the same weapon throughout, as well as wearing the same equipment (to keep burden constant).
*We only did this during the day, to avoid penalties due to darkness.
*He only fought the devils themselves, not me.
*He didn't use any armour, so that we could get the damage for the devil's hits.

A possible source of error that we couldn't eliminate entirely was the varying degrees of injury that he and the devils had throughout. While I tried not to let either of them get too injured, this wasn't entirely successful, and I ended up dismissing the devil and waiting for gp to heal him and make a new devil fairly frequently. However, degree of injury didn't seem to make much difference in whether he hit or was hit by the devils.

Also, sometimes I got frost, mud, etc. dust devils along with the usual dust ones, because of the weather. These didn't seem any different, though.

A hit was "resolvable" if it was between two monitors, and no other hits or healing were between the same two monitors. If the devil hit twice in a row without a monitor between the hits, it was obviously impossible to tell how much damage either one did, and if I finished healing him before the next monitor kicked in (a major culprit of unresolvable hits), it was likewise impossible to tell.

*In other words, minus a few outliers.

Conclusions
Increasing of.area appears to increase the amount of damage they deal, and help them hit more often.

Increasing misc.area appears to increase the amount of damage they deal, and help them hit more often.

Increasing de.area appears to have no effect, or else a very small one.

Hit types and damages
These are from all of the sets combined, and may be of some interest if you want to know approximately how much damage a dust devil's hits are probably doing. Since the messages may indicate percentages and not numbers of hitpoints, both exact damage and percentage damage is included.

Of course, these are only for the skill ranges specified above, so they don't include any higher-level damage messages that may exist, and likely have a lower maximum than is possible. They also don't include the different-looking attacks that some types of devils have.
Observation on different forms
I suspect that for each deity, the same set of deity-specific devils is used at the low altars, high altars, passage rooms and elsewhere in the deity's temple. It might be better to mark these as '<deity> holy rooms' rather than having separate annotations for high altar, low altar, passage room etc. --Zexium 19:45, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

:I think there are a few that you can get in passage rooms, but not temples. Ermmmmm... egrets and egresses in Sandelfon's passage room, balloons, streamers, and some other party stuff in Hat's passage room (aside from party hats and spilled drinks, which show up in the temple too), tiny purple flowers and tiny salamanders in Pishe's, just off the top of my head. Not sure if you can get towels in Pishe's passage room, either. Haven't seen anything to suggest to me that it matters where in a temple you are, though (although of course for all I know there could be exceptions), and there's definitely a lot of overlap between temple devils and passage room devils, so it might be sensible to have the overlapping ones as '<deity> holy rooms'. --Ilde 18:09, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

::I get the impression that any form that appears in a temple may appear in a passage room, and also each passage room has some extras. It certainly doesn't seem to matter where in the temple. --Zexium 22:09, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

I wonder if for gapp it might be better to show eg "(various) lace" instead of deadly / flamboyant / ripped etc lace, especially as they all count as "lace" for the achievement, also "(various) <animal>" for hat, rather than listing every combination of adjective and material / animal - it seems to me as if there's a "pick a random adjective from list a and a random animal / material from list b" for these two temples. --Zexium 22:09, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

:That makes sense to me. Listing all possible combinations separately is a bit... cluttered. --Ilde 22:56, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

For further details I need to do more research.

However, there is no apparent change in the water level of a canteen repetively done totem on, however towel which totem is done on becomes dry. I will test some other ultra-cheap but unpractical containers (vials from the Alchemists guild, for instance.)

If someone has a poison container they could fill with several ounces of water to test, that would be useful.

I will also find some time to do further experimentation on volume of water needed, and with more measurable ammounts of water than 2 pints (the capacity of my canteen). I will also check differences between an open and closed canteen.
:Thanks to whoever added towel weight examples. If we get enough of those, we can add a page for towels. We may want to have some Gufnorkians, Fishites, and Hattites, Sandelfonians and Sekians do experiments on optimal and acceptable items of each class for their deity. Also, if a Pishite finds a towel that doesn't work and a wearable container that holds EXACTLY one pint, let us know. ----&quot;Ruedii&quot; 14:43, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

Purpose
Prayer beads, once charged sufficiently, can be used in rituals instead of holy amulets, holy symbols and holy relics, reducing burden, inventory clutter and complication in performing rituals (you only have to have your beads to hand, not a whole host of holy components). Note that while beads must be held in order to charge them, they do not need to be held while performing rituals that require them - although they must be in your immediately accessible inventory (i.e. not in a container). They will be automatically retrieved from any container identified as a component pouch when needed for a ritual, and will remain in your carried inventory afterwards.

Cost
AM$50 from temple shops.

Also Found
Carried by no-one, although occasionally they can be found (sometimes even ready charged) in player shops. Beware of consecrating prayer beads to another god if they are not newly acquired - any charge in them will be lost. You can no longer reconsecrate beads to the same god; to remove a remember, for example, you will have to use the "scour" command.

Custom prayer beads in a wide variety of colours and materials can be bought from Gemma in the Temple of Small Gods, one floor up from the ground floor.

Charging prayer beads
Beads are charged whenever they are held while performing rituals, praying, consecrating, or ritual burying.

Repairing clothes on Gapp's altar, though it uses faith gp, does not add any charge to beads.

Newly bought beads are uncharged and can safely be consecrated to your god if none are available in your temple. Note that consecrating beads to another god once charged to any extent will remove any charge that has previously been instilled into the item, they can however be reconsecrated to the same god (to remove a remembered place, for example). The beads can be used by anyone that worships the God that they have been consecrated to, whether they are charged by themselves or another. Once charged, beads do not lose charge unless they are consecrated to another god, and can even be vaulted without losing their charge.

The effects of charged beads are:

*An increase to wisdom of 1 when the beads are held after being charged to a little over 40% (Partway through 'bright').
*An increase to wisdom of 2 when the beads are held after being charged to 'radiant'.
*Acting as a substitute for holy symbols, holy amulets, and relics, whilst held or carried in your inventory.

The beads give off varying degrees of holy auras (which can only be observed by those of the faith) that give an indication as to the amount of guild points that have been instilled within them.

Starting from the time at which the first guild points are instilled up to fully charged at 5 million guild points, the progression of auras is as follows:

<br>(Diagram made by Warrax)<br>

After the prayer beads have reached the stage of bright it takes approximatley another 5000 gp until the beads give you the +1 Wisdom when held

As a rough guide, at 4 guild point per heartbeat regen the process of charging to 'radiant' takes roughly 21 hours, depending on lag, if all guild points are instilled into the beads. At the more normal 3 guild point regen this figure is closer to 28 hours.

Moving and clicking
One or more beads on prayer beads can also be "move"d or "click"ed around. This appears to involve a faith.rituals.special check but seems purely aesthetic with no functional use beyond counting prayers. Unholding the beads will reset the count.
Relic Replacement
In meditating over the set of prayer beads, you manage to gain some insight about it. It is consecrated to Seven-Handed Sek,
bead is etched with an intricate runic character, representing prayers and meditations dedicated to Sek.
None of the beads have been moved around the circle.<br>
It is surrounded by a bright holy aura instilled by the numerous invocations it has been involved in.<br>
Just beneath the surface, you can make out what looks like a pair of glittering eyes.<br>

:On a similar note: I started charging a new set of standard beads (through one consecration, then praying after that), and they started acting as a holy amulet replacement during the "pale" or "faint" stage (it was pale when I found that they replaced an amulet, but I hadn't checked since "faint", so it could have turned during either). They started acting as a symbol replacement a little later, still during "pale".

:Then I tried charging another set using only rituals, with the same result. (I started with a bunch of performances of Demoralise, which is only 10 gp.) So the replacement thing seems to depend on gp, not number of performances, and praying vs. doing rituals doesn't seem to make a difference.
I know before I've suggested that "symbol replacement" and the likes might be linked to "number of invocations". After reading about Ilde's tests, I did some for my own. The "invocation" part in the beads description appears to be determined only by total gp spent.
I charged one set to "symbol" using prayers, and one using artefact inquisition. I think the different results when praying are due to getting the "You find yourself slightly distracted from your prayers." message. Fa.ri.sp of 247. None of the beads have been moved around the circle.<br>
The set of prayer beads beats regularly with blood-red pulses of light.<br>
It is surrounded by a bright holy aura instilled by the numerous invocations it has been involved in.<br>
Just beneath the surface, you can make out what looks like a pair of glittering eyes.<br>

I have a set that replaces a relic at a strong aura:

This is a string of prayer beads; twenty-seven perfect obsidian spheres threaded onto a blood-red cord. The surface of each bead is etched with an intricate runic character, representing prayers and meditations dedicated to Sek.<br>
None of the beads have been moved around the circle.<br>
The set of prayer beads beats regularly with blood-red pulses of light.<br>
It is surrounded by a strong holy aura instilled by the numerous invocations it has been involved in.

In meditating over the set of prayer beads, you manage to gain some insight about it. It is consecrated to Seven-Handed Sek. It is a holy relic of Sek.
(was unable to find anyone who could meditate on them for a better result)<br>
Marcus 21:23, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

I don't know about relic replacement, but I have a set of beads at pale that don't act as a symbol replacement. I don't know what happened, but maybe the exact requirements have changed? Sorekara 08:06, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

symbol/amulet replacement and invocations
I know before I've suggested that "symbol replacement" and the likes might be linked to "number of invocations". After reading about Ilde's tests, I did some for my own. The "invocation" part in the beads description appears to be determined only by total gp spent.
I charged one set to "symbol" using prayers, and one using artefact inquisition. I think the different results when praying are due to getting the "You find yourself slightly distracted from your prayers." message. Fa.ri.sp of 247. I've updated the wiki with these results. (I might test up to "relic" later).

Titles are used when someone uses the ‘who’ command in one of its forms, or using ‘refer laotzu’. They will appear after your name followed by the name of your god. For example: LaoTzu The Taoist the Prelate of Hat

Also available are pre-titles which go in front of your name. Besides the generic titles, available to players, every guild has its own special set of titles. As you advance in the guild, your religious instructor will provide you with special titles, such as "Brother", "Reverend" and "Holy". Ministers and High Priests also find that their positions are available as pre titles.

Your title will also be followed by other information, including a title of your choosing, a quest name and any other positions you may hold, e.g.

You are Minister LaoTzu The Taoist the Prelate of Hat, Enlightened, the leader of the-Way, Secretary to the High Priest of Hat, Coffee Bean.

__TOC__

Description
This rather new ritual is in fact a very old one (that was removed for a while). When performed upon an item related to your God (see below), it transforms the item in a being (also depending on your god). Due to the recent changes to dust devils, this totem (together with spectres) is the only summoned creature that will protect the performer. Totems have horrible offensive skills but when shielded, they may be a useful protection for younger priests. A totem will not attack a priest, and will depart if it starts fighting a priest or if a priest starts fighting it. Totems granted are different from God to God.

The totem's alignment is the same as that of the priest who summoned it.

Special features of individual totems
Sandelfon's totem is notable in that it has troll skin.

Hat's totem leaves behind a party hat when it departs, effectively making it an endless source of free party hats.

Pishe's totem will not attack.

Help File
When performed upon an item of significance to your deity, it will summon a creature that protects you. The exact item and creature vary from god to god. To perform this ritual you will need a holy symbol, and you may only command one totem at a time.

Example
> perform totem on fluff
You chant the psalm of transformation.
You call upon Gufnork to transform a huge ball of orchid fluff.
A dust bunny flashes into being.
** Fluff (Gufnork)
** Stylish clothes (Gapp)
** Party hat or underwear (Hat)
** Body part (Sek)

* Pishe requirement details
* Wet towel -- will be dried, but will not be consumed. Items other than towels have not been tested but may work.
:* Performing splash on yourself while carrying or wearing a towel will get it wet enough for the ritual.
:* The lightest towels (at 5/9 lbs) are red beach towels, large black towels, frog green towels, blue hand towels, and yellow foot towels.
:* Patched floral towels are next at 1 1/9 lb, while fluffy pink towels and large white towels are 2 2/9 lbs each.
* Container with at least 1 pint of water. (Neither container nor water will be consumed.)
:* Blue water will work.

Totems
The totems vary, depending on which god the priest is worshipping.
* For Pishe, it is a misty woman.
* For Gufnork, it is a dust bunny.

Purpose
Prayer beads, once charged sufficiently, can be used in rituals instead of holy amulets, holy symbols and holy relics, reducing burden, inventory clutter and complication in performing rituals (you only have to have your beads to hand, not a whole host of holy components). Note that while beads must be held in order to charge them, they do not need to be held while performing rituals that require them - although they must be in your immediately accessible inventory (i.e. not inside a container).

(Custom beads in a wide variety of colours and materials can be bought from Gemma in the Temple of Small Gods, one floor up from the ground floor.)

Charging prayer beads
Beads are charged whenever they are held while faith GP is expended - e.g. performing rituals, praying, consecrating, ritual burying or even using Gapp's low altar.

The prayer beads act as a substitute after a certain number of religious acts (rituals, prayers, etc) have been performed while holding the prayer beads.

The beads give off varying degrees of holy auras (which can only be observed by those of the faith) that give an indication as to the amount of guild points that have been instilled within them. The second part relates to the number of religious acts performed while holding the beads:

Starting from the time at which the first guild points are instilled up to fully charged at 5 million guild points, the progression of auras is as follows:
*pale, flickering
*weakly flickering
*flickering
*unsteady
*faint
*pale
*weak
*steady (holy symbol and amulet replacement)
*strong
*bright (holy symbol and amulet replacement; +1 wisdom when held)
*vibrant
*radiant (symbol, amulet and relic replacement; +2 wisdom when held)
*brilliant
*dazzling
*blazing
*blinding

These holy auras are not evenly spaced in terms of guild points needed to obtain each successive aura, being more exponential in nature. The diagram below gives some idea as to the scale involved (The listed auras being at the start of their respective ranges).

<br>
<br>(Diagram made by Warrax)<br>

As a rough guide, at 4 guild point per heartbeat regen the process of charging to 'radiant' takes roughly 21 hours, depending on lag, if all guild points are instilled into the beads. At the more normal 3 guild point regen this figure is closer to 28 hours.

Moving and clicking
One or more beads on prayer beads can also be "move"d or "click"ed around. This appears to involve a faith.rituals.special check but seems purely aesthetic with no functional use beyond counting prayers. Unholding the beads will reset the count.

Performing this ritual implores your deity to take some of your strength and pass it on to the target, relieving them of some of their burdens. All of your guild points (and an amount of hit points) are removed and the target gains guild points. The amount of gp gained by your target depends on your bonus.
Assuming sufficient skills, the target will gain a percentage of his total guild points which is the same as the percentage lost by the performer.
__TOC__

Description
The target of the ritual is made weaker and more susceptible to harm. It can be performed mid-combat. Any damage done to the target is increased by a certain amount, it is probably capped at a certain point, perhaps double damage. One of the few rituals, which require fairly high bonuses to cast successfully and effectively. If the target is already under the effect of blight a further performing of the ritual will fail.
Blight is an offensive ritual, causing its victim to become weaker and more susceptible to harm. To perform this ritual you will need the holy symbol of your god and a holy amulet.

Example
> perform blight on Pinkfish
You imagine a field of grain, blowing gently in the wind.
You envision the entire crop rotting away.
You hold this image in your mind.
You cry out to Gufnork, asking for this to be so.
Pinkfish appears to be more vulnerable now.

__TOC__

Description
Give the performer a glimpse through the eyes of a person they have a spiritual link with. The link is formed by the companion ritual, Unwilling Host.

Help File
The ritual Parasitic Vision can be used to see through another's eyes, seeing what they see. You may only perform this ritual if you have already achieved spiritual dominance over the victim via Unwilling Host. To perform this ritual you will need a holy symbol consecrated to your god.

Example
> perform unwilling host on vy
You recite the psalm of infiltration.
You speak the prayer of impregnation.
You indicate your desire to become an unexpected guest in Vy of Fish's body.
A sickly green glow swirls around Vy of Fish before disappearing under her skin.

> perform parasitic vision
You recite the psalm of vision.
You concentrate on the divine bond you have created.
You attempt to draw energy from your unwilling host.
Your vision clouds over for a second, to be replaced by that of Vy of Fish:

Walls of muslin and linen flutter against the wooden posts of this small stall. Puffs of dust drift from the fabric
into the still, stuffy air. The floor of hard-packed dirt gives up whiffs of dust at each footfall. A wooden table
sits in the center of the stall. A few heavy tapestry-covered cushions are scattered about, along with some half-empty
cups which appear to hold the dregs of Klatchian coffee. A ledger and pen are chained to the table.
There is one obvious exit: east.
A glass display case and an instructional sign are on the floor.
__TOC__

Description
The perfect misc ritual: fun, useless and unique. This ritual moves the performer next to a RANDOM player on the Disc. Again, random, as in not targetable. Use? Non, except scaring other players. Beware, this could also put you next to a player in the snail, shades, medina, under the sea or in any location you'd rather not end up.
Visit allows you to visit someone unexpectedly. The person who you visit is generally random, so this can take you nearly anywhere on the Disc. You need a holy symbol consecrated to your god and some alcohol to perform this ritual.

Example
> perform visit
You raise your hands in the air, crying out to Hat to fill you with the spirit of uninvited guests everywhere.
You trace your holy symbol into the shape of a simple door in front of you.
The invisible door before you seems to open, and you step through.

It is night and there is no moon.
The mists curl in from the swamp, shrouding this stretch of Market Street in a pallid gloom, the area known
affectionately by its inhabitants as Llamedos Fach. Amongst the ghostly silhouettes of houses the bright lights of a
shop shine brightly, a beacon against the grey half-light of the mists. The houses here are huddled together like damp
crows in a thunderstorm, thatched roofs dripping with the damp. A dark shadow between two tumbledown cottages to the
southwest of the street marks where Dolmen Walk, a narrow cobbled alleyway, slinks away into the silence of the rolling
mists.
The surrounding area is illuminated by the light from a nearby torch.
It is a very warm autumn prime's night with a gentle breeze and dense cloud cover.
There are four obvious exits: north, east, southwest and northwest.
Wodan is standing here.

You visit Wodan unexpectedly! Despite your generous gift of alcohol, (which you quickly conceal after showing it off)
he doesn't look too pleased to see you.
Causes the target to be filled with the spirit of a party. Meaning, he's start doing weird stuff, spamming everyone in the room. In practice, this means that the target is unable to hide. Useful in PK fights or just to have some fun with friends.
Life of the Party causes the target to be filled with spirits, often leaving them oblivious to what is going on around them. You need a party hat to perform this ritual. Of course, being in the party spirit yourself may help you perform this.

Example
> perform life of the party on wodan
You stare directly at Wodan, channelling the power of Hat.
You close your eyes and trace out a few sigils in the air with your party hat, directing the distracting power of Hat
towards Wodan.
Wodan perks up and becomes the life of the party, cleverly distracting the host from your uninvited presence.
