The base duration seems to be about equal to your faith.rituals.misc.self or faith.rituals.misc.target bonus in seconds, and stacks in a limited way--Blessing while the target is still under the effects of another Bless seems to reset the timer, ignoring any remaining time on it (so that if you Bless someone twice in a row, it will run out at the same time as it would have if you'd only Blessed them the second time).

Description

Bestows your God's blessing upon the target, whose stats all rise by 1 as a result of the divine favor. Can be tedious finding and carrying enough incense to use this ritual constantly.

Interference with stat items

Bless combines with stat items inconsistently. In all cases, however, the general +1 stat effect is removed.

Help File

Bless will temporarily raise all of the stats of the target. You need incense to perform this ritual.

Example

> perform bless on Taffyd

You say a prayer over Taffyd.
The incense in your hands bursts into flames, filling the air with a thick blue-grey smoke. The smoke is caught up in a sudden gust and settles around Taffyd.
You bless Taffyd in the name of Gufnork.
You feel the presence of Gufnork surround Taffyd.
