Sacrifices a corpse to your god.

Description

This ritual allows the priest to sacrifice a corpse to their god, restoring a nice amount of hp, up to 1000 hp or so. This ritual will turn a corpse to dust, returning these hp. A nice bonus of this ritual in the ability to get burial xp during combat. It is important to note that the sacrificed corpse will first be converted to guild points, which will then gradually be converted into (healing) hp. This means that this ritual can also be used to briefly boost your gp and execute commands or perform rituals for which you did not have enough gp. This will of course reduce the healing effect of the ritual.

You can only perform this ritual if you are damaged enough--otherwise you get this message:

You cannot perform withering touch because you are not in dire need of healing.

You can only perform this ritual on corpses that haven't yet been buried.

Help File

When performed on a corpse, this ritual offers the flesh to the priest's god, in exchange for being able to absorb the life force contained within to continuously heal the priest's wounds. This ritual requires a holy symbol consecrated to your god to perform, and may only be performed on a suitable sacrifice.

Ward Effect

This ritual may not be impressed as a ward.

Example
